I just came across the cleverest way to sell a product ever. It’s such a simple idea that I can’t believe that it hasn’t been done in quite this way before and I certainly wish I had thought of it. However, now I know how it works, I will definitely be using this myself.
The guy who created this amazingly simple yet immensely viral way of working is called Jon Davies and he’s from the UK. It’s good to see that the old country can still produce great ideas. Here’s how it works.
Jon has produced an e-book which explains very neatly how his system operates. It is not very long, but it is well written and persuasive. In essence it is a description of the system, an explanation of the bonuses attached and a link to the next stage.
He then produced a short but very well written e-mail which directs the recipient to a web page where his e-book is available. The way it is worded is intriguing enough to make most people at least click-through. Just out of curiosity.
When they arrive there, the sales letter they read is again, not too long, but very persuasively written and the call to action is simply to download the e-book, for free. Who could resist such an offer? We all like free information. I am sure that he gets very high download rates.
Now, this is where it gets really clever. When you download the e-book, you get to read exactly how Jon’s system operates, but best of all, he explains how you can operate the same system, using the same e-book, the same website and sales-letter and sell a product that he will provide in exactly the same way. But the best part is that you get to keep 100% of the profits.
In return for purchasing a a product which is very low priced, deliberately to sell the maximum number, but extremely high value, the purchaser gets to be able to use and replicate the whole system but with the proceeds all going to their account instead of Jon’s.
Now it would be unfair of me to reveal how Jon makes this possible as I don’t wish to steal his thunder. Like a good movie reviewer, I want to encourage you to go see the movie, but I don’t want to spoil the ending for you.
